Copper Kettle Co.

Small Batch. Slow Roasted. Soul Stirred.

Our Story

It started in a garage on San Bernardo Avenue with a cast-iron kettle, a hundred pounds of green coffee, and a conviction that Laredo deserved better than what came in cans. That was 2016. The kettle has since been retired to the shelf above the bar, but the principle hasn't changed: source with conscience, roast with patience, serve with honesty.

Good coffee isn't rushed. Neither are the people who drink it.

Every bag we sell is roasted in our workshop on McPherson Road, in batches small enough to watch over. We know the farms, we know the altitude, and we know the exact moment the first crack gives way to something worth pouring. We hope you taste the difference.

The Process

Source

Direct relationships with family farms across Guatemala, Ethiopia, and Colombia. Altitude matters. So does trust.

Roast

Small-batch drum roasting, never more than 15 pounds at a time. We listen for first crack and taste the rest.

Brew

Whether it's pour-over, espresso, or cold drip, the coffee speaks for itself. We just get out of the way.

The Beans

Roasted this week in Laredo. Shipped the day after.
